Welcome

Using all or part of 20 rail and canal trails and 2000 miles of road, the Run Across America on Trail (RAAoT) will begin on May 30, 2012. Following in the footsteps of the 1992-1995 TRANSAMs, the 2002 and 2004 Runs Across America, and the 2011 LA to New York Footrace, the Run Across America on Trail will be a stage run. The 3360 mile route will take 80 days to run which works out to an average of 42 miles a day. The run will start at Twin Harbors State Park in Washington, and the run will end at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware at the eastern terminus of the American Discovery Trail.
